Adrian has over 25 years of hands-on project management, laboratory management, and corporate leadership experience. This includes building complex programs, setting and executing strategy, building business plans and models, managing business development activities, building diverse teams, and designing the work environments required for successful team execution. Felts builds customized training modules that encompass team building and soft skills development, while helping trainees get a baseline understanding of project management principles from the Project Management Book of Knowledge© published by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
He applies these skills outside of the corporate environment by engaging in various community organizations. Felts served as the Chairman of the Board of the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce and as Chairman of the Board of the Charlottesville Business Innovation Council, and currently serves as the Director of the Virginia Piedmont Regional Science Fair, and as President of the Virginia State Science and Engineering Fair. Adrian also serves on a variety of other boards that are focused on technology, entrepreneurship, and science education.
Felts is a father of two active sons, an avid fisherman, budding chef, and frontman of rock and roll bands.
