Katie Dulaney currently serves as the Talent Director of the Central Virginia Partnership for Economic Development. She oversees the Partnership’s talent pipeline attraction and retention efforts, including a GO Virginia funded initiative, TechLink which focuses on retaining college graduates in the Central Virginia region after graduation.
Dulaney earned her Ph.D. in Educational Theory and Policy at Penn State University. As a Ph.D. student, she helped launch an undergraduate internship program at the Center for Education and Civil Rights and worked closely with numerous school boards deliberating on local policies.
A former middle school teacher, she served as both a leader in and a liaison for the education sector.
In addition to Penn State, Dulaney is a graduate of Columbia University and UNC-Chapel Hill, where she studied English, philosophy, and education.
She is originally from Greensboro, NC and when not at work, she is often found running and biking the trails of Charlottesville with her Welsh Terrier, Greta.
